my latest score!

a while back i thrifted a fab cabinet that i was going to use as a bar but as much as i loved

 it for that, i thought i would love it even more as storage for jewelry, so i was still on the hunt for a bar.

i hit up my fav neighborhood thrift store at least once a week and recently scored this baby, which is so perfect for what i really wanted and way cheaper than ones that i had come across online!

 i am going to paint it...i think silver...but i haven't completely decided on that yet, 

but whatever color, i love it.

i can not count the number of home decor/diy blogs that i follow and i thought that i had all the biggest and best covered but today thanks to the nate berkus show i was introduced to Rashon Carraway aka Mr. Goodwill Hunting

 

i have 5 pieces in my house that i have collected in recent months that i am supposed to be making over that have just been sitting around collecting dust and he has added the needed spark to my up and down home decor fire...

he created his blog for the purpose of as his tag line states, "helping you live your BEST life through thrifting"

i'm sold!
