autumn home...

fall is the start of my favorite time of the year, with halloween kicking off everything with it's crazy, colorful fun...i realized that a lot of my fall things are in storage because we moved in december last year and it just made sense to put them there but now i am like i need my things!!

so i will have to take a trip, although of course i have already purchased a few new things from target and other stores as i have seen them...stay tuned

autumn-izing the flat

autumn is without a doubt my favorite time of year...i just love everything about it...the leaves and their breathtaking color change...the cool breezes...the beginning of the holiday season...

every year i pull out a bunch of my autumn decor in big hopes of filling my flat with them and in recent years, i have done anything but...

so, this year, i have made it my business to get back on track and USE what i own...

here are some of the items i have pulled out or purchased so far...

the leaf paper punch (similar) is a new addition to my collection... and instead of using traditional paper, i am using this fab heavyweight silver paper  that i have had forever but never used... i will either frame them or use them as random table decor, i haven't decided yet. oh and the skull...i got it from tjmaxx a couple of years ago...i so love it! i also have other halloween decor that along with a bunch of other autumn things  are in the basement storage, i really want to use them but the storage  is so full of stuff, that i may end up just working with these...
