decor: cheers to a bar full of gold

my gold obsession is of course no secret, so it should not come as a surprise that i try to fit it in anywhere that i can.

 i thrifted this awesome bar car forever ago, 2012 to be exact and i am going to give it its due and set it up for fall.

i purchased this gold ice bucket & hammered gold serving tray a couple of weeks ago & i have had these Joseph Altuzarra NM + Target gold old fashioned glasses since 2012 also.

the "pick your poison"cocktail shaker is from tjmaxx and i have so many other cute additions that i plan to add...

oh and funny not so funny story about this door behind the cart...if you look at the wall, you see the piece that a door would normally close into (a strike) but this door obviously does not fit it and that is because the door leads to the closet that was turned into a furnace room (such a loss..for real, real) and the gas company came out and said that they would shut the entire building off because the door was not properly vented. so the maintenance crew initially cut a huge hole in the top of the door that was originally there and replaced it with what turned out to be a smaller door and a big headache that i have just handed over to the lord and let go of...sigh..

decor: wood and brass bar cart

if i didn't already own & love the thrifted bar that i have,
i would so be buying this baby!

the target wood and brass bar cart is awesome and it is so hard to find a good,
affordable one which is why i was so over the moon when i found the one i did at the thrift.

the price point is so doable and it looks just as fab in person
as it does in the pics i had seen of it online

i also love this iron table/stool. the only reason why i didn't snag it is because it was 

too heavy for me to carry by my dang self...but it is pretty awesome.

i have decided that my bar cart will serve two purposes...

one as a full out booze bonanza called "revelry" and the other as a tea bar called "refined"

my latest score!

a while back i thrifted a fab cabinet that i was going to use as a bar but as much as i loved

 it for that, i thought i would love it even more as storage for jewelry, so i was still on the hunt for a bar.

i hit up my fav neighborhood thrift store at least once a week and recently scored this baby, which is so perfect for what i really wanted and way cheaper than ones that i had come across online!

 i am going to paint it...i think silver...but i haven't completely decided on that yet,
